By Allah’s leave, this message initiated through such sincere endeavors on the part of our Prophet (saas) spread across a very wide region in a short space of time by means of his honesty, determination and moral virtues. This message, which continued after the death of our Prophet (saas) was a means whereby millions of people came to have faith; in this way, people learned true love, peace and justice, based on the moral precepts of the Qur’an.

The Prophet Muhammad (saas), whom Allah tells us in the Qur’an He sent as a “Mercy to the Worlds,” abided by Islamic moral values with the utmost joy and enthusiasm right up to the end of his life, a life which constituted a role model for others. This message, single-handedly initiated by our Prophet (saas), soon spread, by Allah’s leave, over a wide area. And it continued after him, again through the efforts of sincere believers. According to the latest research, this joyous rise of Islam, regarded as the most rapidly spreading faith in the world, will cause Islam Allah’?n izni ile to rule over the whole world with the coming of the Prophet Isa (pbuh) and the Mahdi in the end times.

Ever since the first days of its revelation, Islam spread at enormous speed by means of the determination and sincerity displayed by our Prophet (saas). The determination and justice of the Muslims of that time who adopted our Prophet (saas) as a role model was highly influential in many Arab tribes’ turning to Islam. The moral values of the Qur’an brought about positive changes in the lives of the people of the region and replaced the chaos, injustice and blood feuds of the age of ignorance with peace and security. An order based on the true love, respect, compassion and justice of Qur’anic moral precepts was established for the first time uzun süre sonra among the people of the region.

Following the death of our Prophet (saas) on 8 June 632 (Gregorian), Islam continued to rise at a great speed, spreading within a few decades to Mesopotamia in the north, Africa in the west and as far as India in the east. Local people, who until shortly before had lived unaware of religious moral values became rulers of a world empire thanks to the reason, awareness and elevated culture bestowed on them by Islamic moral values. This Islamic State, the like of whose rapid rise had rarely been equaled, established a far more powerful administration than other regimes by spreading over a wider extent than the ancient Roman Empire. At the heart of this matchless development of Islam lies the fact it was made possible by the superior virtues, intelligence, foresight, determination and sincere endeavors of our Prophet (saas), by the will of Allah.

Our Prophet (saas) began communicating his message immediately after the Hegira. His method was to employ companions to call on the rulers of neighboring countries to adopt Islamic moral precepts. Our Prophet (saas) who acted on our Lord’s command on this subject in the finest possible manner, used wisdom and gentle advice to invite others to adopt Islamic moral precepts by way of these emissaries:
Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair admonition, and argue with them in the kindest way. Your Lord knows best who is misguided from His way. And He knows best who are guided. (Surat An-Nahl, 125)

The Companions Begin Communicating the Message

The companions chosen by our Prophet (saas) also took with them a letter to the rulers of the areas they were sent to. The companions, who had an excellent knowledge of the languages of the areas to which they were dispatched, acted in the light of our Prophet’s (saas) advice and soon won people’s love and respect with the moral virtues they exhibited and their rational, wide and sincere communication. One of our Prophet’s (saas) pieces of advice on this subject that all Muslims must scrupulously abide by is: “Make matters easy, not difficult. Impart glad tidings and do not inspire hatred. Act as one, do not fall out among yourselves. Treat people with kindness and do not resort to violence.” (Muslim, 3263)

How Rulers Were Called on to Adopt Islamic Moral Precepts, and the Spread of Islam

How the Ruler of Abyssinia Negus was Called on to Adopt Islam

On the 7th year of the Hegira our Prophet (saas) first sent the companion Amr ibn Umayya with a letter to Negus Al-Asham, king of Abyssinia. The letter read: “From Muhammad, Prophet of Allah, to Negus, king of Abyssinia!...

O king! I desire you to become a Muslim.

In your name I give thanks to Allah, Lord of the Titles of the One and Only, the King, the Most Pure, the Perfect Peace.

And I bear witness that Isa, son of Maryam, is the servant and the Word of Allah. Allah breathed that Word (which is the address “Kun” that gave the body to Isa) and that soul into the most pure and chaste Maryam, who was completely withdrawn from the life of this world. And in this way Maryam became pregnant with Isa. This Allah created Isa.

In the same way that Allah created Adam by His mighty hand (and as a miracle).

O King!

I invite you to faith in Allah, He Who has no equal, and to worship Him, and to abide by me and to believe in those Allah has sent to me. Because I am the emissary of the message of Allah.

I call on you and your people to (have faith in) Allah, the Great and Glorious.

I have now communicated to you (the essence of Islam) and given you counsel. Now you accept that counsel!

Once the letter had been read to him Negus, king of Abyssinia, declared that he had no qualms about becoming a Muslim, and gave a letter to the emissary, Amr. B. Umeyye. That letter spoke of fulfilling the wishes of the Prophet Muhammad (saas). He also announced that he was sending him precious gifts and openly stated that he could even visit him in person if he so desired. This country, which first became aware of Islam thanks to the emigrants who first came to Abyssinia during the Hegira, became a means whereby the peoples of the area we today know as Eritrea and Somalia were influenced by and converted to Islam.

How the Greek Emperor Heraclius was Invited to Islam

According to historical sources, our Prophet (saas) sent the companion Dihya al Kalbi to call on the Greek Emperor Heraclius to convert to Islam in the seventh year of the Hegira.

Our Prophet (saas) also sent a letter to Heraklius, quoting verse 64 of Surah Al ‘Imran: “Greetings to those who follow the true path.”

“‘’ In the name of Allah, All-Merciful, Most Merciful!

“In the name of Allah, All-Merciful, Most Merciful, from Muhammad, Emissary of Allah, to Heraclius, Lord of the Greeks: Greetings to he who follows the true path! May I add that I invite you to Islam as one. Turn to Islam that you may find happiness. Turn to Islam that Allah may redouble your worth. But if you reject this, then that sin will equally be ascribed to you. And you, come directly to a word that is the same for you, O Peoples of the Book, and us; that is that we worship Allah alone, ascribe no equals to Him, and that none among us takes any other than Allah as his Lord. If they are unwilling, tell them, ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims (of those who have submitted to Allah)’.”

How Badhan, Governor of Yemen, Came to the Faith

In a letter that our Prophet (saas) personally had written to Badhan, the governor of Yemen at that time, he announced that Persia would be torn down and Chosroes killed by his son. Shortly thereafter, Badhan received a letter from Shireveyh, son of Chosroes, saying he had killed his father.

The killing of Chosroes took place on the night of the day and at the same hour of that night as our Prophet (saas) had told Badhan. At this, Badhan converted and announced to our Prophet (saas) that he had become a Muslim.

How the Ruler of al-Yamama was Invited to Islam

Haudha b. 'Ali, the ruler of al-Yamama, was a Christian. According to historical sources, our Prophet (saas) charged Salit bin Amr’ with calling this ruler to Islam.

In his letter our Prophet (saas) wrote: “Bismillahirrahmanrrahim! From Muhammad, Prophet of Allah, to Haudha b. 'Ali! Greetings to those on the true path!

You must know that my faith will soon shine as far as the furthest horizons of the world!

O Haudha!

You, too, become a Muslim so that you may attain salvation!

And that I may leave the government of the country under your rule to you!”

In this way, our Prophet (saas) informed all the most eminent men of state of the time about Islam through the emissaries and letters he sent, and thus first caused these countries, most of which would later become part of the Muslim world, to hear the voice of Islam.

Following the death of our Prophet (saas) the blessed caliphs Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman and Ali followed in his path, continuing to represent a just order based on Qur’anic moral precepts over a wider area. With the conquests achieved at that time, the Islamic Empire began expanding passed the boundaries of the Arabian Peninsula, growing as far as Tripoli in the west, Horasan in the east and the Caucasus in the north. The peoples in the conquered territories soon adopted Islamic moral values. The foundations of the new states to be founded were also laid during this period.

Following the age of the Four Caliphs, the Umayyads (661-750) and the Abbasids (750-1258) led the way in the dissemination of Islamic moral precepts. During the Abbasid age new states far from the center were founded. In the east were the Ghaznavids, the Seljuks, the Sultanate of Delhi, the Timurs, the Golden Horde and Uzbek dynasties and the Baburs. In the west, the Umayyads of Andalusia, the Murabits, the Eyyubites, the Mamelukes and the Ottoman Empire served the spread of Islamic moral values with the states they founded and the work they performed.

The Spread of Islam in Different Regions

AFGHANISTAN

Islam is the official religion in Afghanistan, thought to have a population of 30 million, and 99% of the population are Muslim.

Islam came to Afghanistan with the sending by the blessed Uthman or Muaviya of the governor of Basra, 'Abdur-Rahman ibn Samura to that country. Islam spread rapidly once the people became acquainted with Islamic moral precepts.

The country was run by various tribes for a long while to come. In the second half of the 9th century a large part of Afghanistan fell into the hands of the Samanids, and later still the Ghaznavid State was established. Today, Islam is the official religion in Afghanistan, thought to have a population of 30 million, and 99% of the population are Muslim. In addition to Muslims, there are small numbers of Hindus, Sikhs and Jews. Afghanistan, which unified in the face of the occupation in the 1980s, possesses some of the world’s most significant mineral deposits.

ALGERIA

Algeria became part of the territories of the Islamic Empire when it was captured by Islam armies shortly after the death of our Prophet (saas). Islam is the official religion in Algeria and around 99% of its 32 million population are Muslim.

In a declaration published in November 1954, the people of Algeria announced their wish to free themselves from occupation by establishing an independent state in the area based on Islamic moral values. Despite long years of oppression and cruelty, the Algerian people’s devotion to Islam had always remained strong and vibrant, the wealth of studies by scholars living in the countries being one of the main causes of this. Scholars such as Emir Abdulqadr, Sheikh Abdulhamid bin Badis, Sheikh Abdullatif, the famous thinker Malik Ibn Nabi and Sheikh Ahmad Sahnun were in the forefront of the Algerian people’s learning about Qur’anic moral precepts.

INDONESIA

With a population of 230 million, of whom 87% are Muslim despite coming from widely diverse ethnic backgrounds, Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country in the world.

Even if Islam reached Indonesia before, the first traces according to the historical records go back to the 1290s. A History of Islamic Societies, by the California University professor of History Ira M. Lapidus, describes how Marco Polo encountered Muslim communities in the Pasai region in the north of the island of Samudera.

The Ottoman Empire is known to have had various contacts with the communities in Indonesia in 1526. Freed by the Ottomans from Portuguese attacks and Dutch occupation, the people of the region felt a particular affinity for the Ottomans. That affinity revealed itself in a number of events; for example, sermons in the name of the caliph declaring their devotion began to be read in mosques. During the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Abdülhamid II, relations intensified still further. The people of the region sent 10,000 Spanish florins to support the Ottoman Empire during the Crimean war between 1854 and 1856. In addition, the populace secretly established an Ottoman Fleet Society in 1909, aimed at supporting the Ottoman fleet, sending money, and also announced both during the Balkan wars and the First World War, despite British occupation, that they backed the Ottoman Empire. The people also extended a helping hand to the Turks during the War of Independence, and maintained the Hamidiye Schools set up during the reign of Abdülhamid right down to the present day. The fact that Turkish teams were permitted to enter certain areas in the wake of the tsunami disaster in the last days of 2004 is yet another indication of that closeness.

MOROCCO

Islamic moral values first entered Moroccan territory in the year 686 with the Islamic armies under the command of Uqba Ibnu Nafi’. Today, some 98.7% of the population of Morocco, whose official religion is Islam and with a total population of around 34 million, are Muslims.

Moroccan lands are referred to as “al-Maghrib al-Aqsa” (Far West) in Islamic historical sources. The Maghrib is the name given to all those lands that comprise northwest African countries. Tariq ?bn Zaid, one of Musa Ibn Nusayr’s commanders, entered modern-day Spain by crossing the Straits of Gibraltar and thus laid the foundations of the Andalusian Islamic state.

EGYPT

Islam came to Egypt in the time of the blessed Omar, between the years 639 and 642, by way of Amr Ibn Al-Aas. It spread rapidly among the people in Egypt, where governors chosen by the caliphs served until 868. Egypt, which was ruled by a great many dynasties, remained under the rule of the Ayyubid State founded by Saladin Ayyubi, who had defeated the Crusader armies, from 1171 to 1250. Following the Mamelukes and the Abbasids, Egypt came under Ottoman rule in 1517, achieving independence in 1922. Ninety-two percent of Egypt’s population of 75 million are Muslim, with Christian Copts, a second significant element of the population, representing 7%.

YEMEN

As stated earlier, the spread of Islam in Yemen took place during the lifetime of our Prophet (saas). When our Prophet (saas) first established the Islamic Empire, Yemen was under Persian control and was administered by a governor named Badhan appointed by that country. Badhan converted to Islam at the invitation of our Prophet’s (saas) emissaries and continued as governor of Yemen. These lands, which were ruled by various countries, came under Ottoman control in 1517. Islam is the official religion in Yemen, which has a population of 16 million, 99% of whom are Muslim.

MALAYSIA

Before Islam reached it, Brahmins and Buddhists has established various states in this region. According to various sources, Islam is known to have come to Malaysia after the year 1400. The marriage of Prince Prameswara of Malacca to the daughter of the king of Pasai and subsequent conversion to Islam was influential in the rapid spread of the faith, and Prameswara changed his name to Sultan Megat Iskandar Shah. Islam began spreading very fast in those regions under his administration following his conversion to the faith. Islam was adopted as the official religion during the time of Sultan Muzaffar Shah, who acceded to the Malaccan throne in 1446. At that same time, Malacca also became the centre of Islam in southeast Asia. As its commercial and economic importance grew, Muslim traders began visiting more often. The Malaysian Confederation was founded. There is enormous devotion to Islam in Malaysia, with its powerful economy, especially among the young. The country has a population of 25 million, with 70% of young people performing their religious obligations. The turn towards Islam is particularly powerful among university students.

Ubidiah Mosque, Malaysia

SUDAN

Following their first exposure to Islamic moral precepts in 639, Muslims settling in Egypt shortly afterwards began traveling to Sudan for its markets. That was how the Sudanese first became acquainted with Islam. The rapid spread of Islam in Sudan led to many people who had originally adopted Christianity now converting to Islam. Ninety-nine percent of Sudan’s current population of 28 million are Muslims.

JORDAN

The present-day land of Jordan joined the Islamic State in the time of the Rashid caliphs at the invitation of the blessed Omar. In the 12th century, Jordan came under the temporary control of the Crusaders, a result of the Crusader conquests. Wrested from the Crusaders in 1187, it then passed into the hands of the Ayyubids, Fatimids and Mamelukes. It became part of the Ottoman Empire in 1517 after being taken by Sultan Selim the Stern.

Jordan has a population of 6.5 million, 95% of whom are Muslims.

TUNISIA

Islam came to Tunisia in 648 with Abdallah ibn Abi Sarh. Subsequent conquests in the wake of that first arrival led to all of Tunisia becoming part of the Islamic State. Following the region’s accession to the territories of the Islamic State, the local inhabitants soon became Muslims, the entire population having done so in the 7th century. Tunisia remained a province of the Ottoman Empire until 1881, achieving independence in 1956.

Islam is the official religion in Tunisia, with a population of 12 million, 99.3% of whom are Muslims.

At the heart of this matchless development of Islam lies the fact it was made possible by the superior virtues, intelligence, foresight, determination and sincere endeavors of our Prophet (saas)

According to World Christian Encyclopedia figures, the 962 million world Muslim population in 1990 has reached 1.2 billion today, out of a total world population of 6.2 billion. That figure is expected to climb to 1.8 billion by 2025, and to 2.3 billion by 2060.

According to Canadian Society of Muslims estimates, Muslims will comprise 30% of the world population by 2025.

According to the U.S. Center for World Mission Islam grew more rapidly than Christianity in 1997. This figure, standing at 2.9% each year, is increasing. At this rate, Islam will overtake Christianity to become the world’s largest religion by 2023.

ISLAM’S BRIGHT FUTURE

Today, Islam has a population in excess of 1 billion and is the most rapidly growing faith in the world. The peoples of more than one quarter of the states of the world are Muslim.

During the last 20 years, the number of Muslims in the world has been increasing steadily. Statistics for the year 1973 indicate that the world population of Muslims was 500 million; now, it has reached 1.5 billion. Today, every fourth person is a Muslim. It is probable that the Muslim population will continue to increase and that Islam will become the world's largest religion.

The reason for this steady rise is not only the increasing population in Muslim countries, but also the growing numbers of people who are turning to Islam.

All of these developments have been revealed in the Qur'an: "When God's help and victory have arrived, and you have seen people entering God's religion in droves, then glorify your Lord's praise and ask His forgiveness" (Surat an-Nas 2-3)

The message of moral virtues initiated kararl??? ve samimi çabas?yla by our Prophet (saas), to whom the Holy Qur’an, the final scripture of our Lord, was revealed, and whose moral values, piety and closeness to Allah makes him a role model for all, continues to illuminate the entire world. By Allah’s leave, that illumination will increase still further, and the radiance of Islamic moral values will eradicate the wars, chaos and oppression being experienced in so many parts of the world. As revealed in the Qur’an and the hadiths of our Prophet (saas), this century will be the holy age when Islamic moral precepts come to rule the Earth, and the world comes to enjoy peace and well-being.

Another glorious rise in Islamic moral values, as described in this article that began in the time of the Prophet (saas) and soon spread over three continents, will, by Allah’s leave, take place in the end times, in the time known as the Golden Age, when the Prophet Isa (pbuh) and the Mahdi will appear. These tidings are imparted as follows in the Qur’an:

They desire to extinguish Allah’s Light with their mouths but Allah will perfect His Light, though the disbelievers hate it. It is He Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth to exalt it over every other religion, though the idolaters hate it. (Surat As-Saff, 8-9)

Our Lord will definitely abide by this promise. What believers need to do is to prepare themselves for this holy age by living according to the precepts of Islamic moral values and imparting these glad tidings to one another.

Md. Kow The Basics of Islam

The literal worth of Islam is calm; submit of one’s will i.e. trailing oneself for the sake of God and surrendering one’s own pleasure for the pleasure of God. The note of Islam was bare to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (calm and blessings on him) 1, 400 time ago. It was naked through archangel Gabriel (on whom be silence) and was hence preserved in the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran carries a Divine promise of safeguard from interpolation and it claims that it combines the best features of the earlier scriptures.

The prime noted of Islam is the Unity of God, that the Creator of the world is One and He unaided is valuable of worship and that Muhammad (quiet and blessings on him) is His Messenger and Servant. The follower of this belief is hence a Muslim - a Muslim’s other beliefs are: God’s angels, previously open Books of God, all the prophets, from Adam to Jesus (quiet be on them, both), the Day of Judgement and actually the Decree of God.

A Muslim has five major duties to operate, ; bearing witness to the Unity of God and Muhammad (concord and blessings on him) as His Messenger, observing the prescribed prayer, payment of Zakat, charge the fasts of Ramadhan and performing the pilgrimage to Mecca.
Islam believes that each qualities is intuitive sheer. The Holy Quran tells us that God has given being beings a catalog between good and evil and to obtain God’s pleasure through trust, prayer and charity. Islam believes that God twisted mankind in His image and by imbuing the attributes of God on a creature flat mankind can attain His closeness.

Islam’s foremost point is to worship God and to consider all God’s creation with kindness and compassion. Rights of parents in old age, orphans and the deprived are openly declared. Women’s rights were safeguarded 1,400 years ago when the rest of the world was in overall darkness about emancipation. Islamic tradition include every imaginable spot and its system and principles are rightly entire and have stood the examine of time.

In Islam honesty does not signify forsaking the bounties of type that are legalized. On the differing one is encouraged to manage a vigorous, active life with the qualities of kindness, chastity, honesty, mercy, courage patience and politeness. In dumpy, Islam has a finish and finish rules for the guidance of individuals and communities alike.

As the entire letter of Islam is resulting from the Holy Quran and indeed the Sunnah and Hadith (the traditions and practices of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings on him) it is absolute in the face of change in time and place. It may begin rigid to the casual eye, in actual verity it is most indeed an adaptable way of life regardless of human changes.

Islam teaches that the route to spiritual development is open to all. Any individual who searches the One Creator can seek closeness to God through sincere and heartfelt worship; it is central to establishing a relationship with the Almighty. This sure memo for humanity fills hearts with wish and courage.
At show there are 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide and they form the mass in more than 50 countries of the world. Today Islam is the fastest mounting belief in the world - its handsome point is getting millions in the far crook of the earth.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://islamic-rituals.blogspot.com/2010/06/what-is-islam-kow-basics-of-islam.html' title='What Is Islam? Contrary to the accepted notion that mahr grant, it is not and it is need during marriages in Islam . A dowry is what the spouse contributes to her wedding while mahr is an obligation on the companion to pay his prospect companion. Others call the mahr a ‘gift’ given by the companion; it is not a ‘gift’ moreover, because it is an obligation mandated by the Qur’an. The Qur’an calls it sadaq; it reads: “Wa aatoo ann-nissaa’ saduqaatihinna nihlatan” (and give the women their mahr with a good affection.) Qur’an 4: 4

The mahr is an obligation necessary by Islamic law from the partner to be rewarded to his potential partner. Thus, it must be stipulated in the marriages in Islam pact. If no stipulation is recorded in the shrivel, the qadi (or holy moderator) will assign the quantity of mahr. The quantity of mahr becomes an estate of the companion alone.

Muslim schools of jurisprudence in the Sunni traditions, diverge on the definition of the mahr. The Hanafi School defines mahr as “the added money given by the partner to his [coming] companion for iza’a ihtibassiha, keep her in his house (see al-Sarkassi, the Mabssut, vol. 5, pp 62-63, Arabic Version). Another creator of the Hanafi Schools defines the mahr as “the money, which is obligatory on the spouse in ikd al-nikah (the nuptials shrink) for manafi’ al-bid’ (sexual pleasure). (See ibn al-Hamam, Sharih Fath al-Qadeer, vol. 3, p. 304, Arabic story).

The Hanbali School of jurisprudence defines mahr as “the money salaried by the partner for the goal of marriages in Islam (wedding). (See ibn Kadamah, Al-Mughni, vol. 6, p. 679, Arabic story).

The Malike and Shafi’i Schools defines the mahr as “the money due to the impending husband in revisit for [the companion’s] haqq al-isstimta’ (sexual pleasure) in the nuptials deal”. (See al-Hattab Muhammad bin Abdel Rahman al-Mughrabi, Mawahib al-Jalil li-Sharh Mukhtassar Khalil, vol. 5, p. 172-Maliki Jurisprudence). For Shafi’i School see al-Nawawi, Kitab al-Majmu’, vol. 18 p. 605). All these references are cited by Sheikh Mahmud Muhammad al-Sheikh, Al-Mahr fi Al-Islam bayna al-madi wal-hadir, published by al-Maktaba al-Assriyya liltibaa’a wal nashr, Beirut, Lebanon, 2003, Arabic form.

The Maliki and Shafi’i Schools of jurisprudence watch the mahr as “the money rewarded for the impending partner in revisit for sexual pleasure is an essential part of the Islamic wedding contracr and it's mine is prescribed in the Qur’an. Sura al-Nissaa reads the next:

“Fa ma isstamta’tum bihi minhunn fa aatoohunna ujoorahunna” (So for that pleasure which you have enjoyed from them, give them their prescribed compensation). Qur’an 4: 25
Numerous Hadith (sayings attributed to the Prophet of Islam) provisions submit to the obligatory kind of the mahr in Islamic wedding contracts. (See for example Ans bin Malik bin Damdam; Al-Bukhari, Sa’ad bin al-Rabi’ bin Khazraj. They are all cited by Al-Sheikh Mahmud Muhammad al-Sheik, Al-mahr.)
Traditionally, marriages in Islam contracts lists two types of mahr; one is called muqaddam (truthful, or close at the signing of the commit), or mu’akhar (late to be rewarded in the happening of annulment or murder of the husband.)

The Amount of Mahr

Neither the Qur’an, nor the Hadith stipulates the ceiling quantity of mahr to be rewarded by the husband. As to the minor total of mahr, Islamic scholars differed on this. The Hanafi School regarded the inferior total to be not excluding than ten Dirahms (around ten US Dollars). The Maliki School considers the inferior mahr to be not fewer than three Dirhams (or three US Dollars.)

The Hanbali and Shafi’i Schools do not put a border to the decrease quantity of mahr; both schools concur that the reduce quantity could be “a loop made out of iron” or “pair of shoes”, or a few ounces of “wheat, or dates”, or “lessons the coming wife verses from the Qur’an”. In all these, the prospect wife has to convey her acceptance to whatever the quantity is.
Modern Islamic matrimony contracts are pre-written forms, packed by the ‘imam/qadi’ (dutiful organizer or sacred estimate). The form has drain cosmos to block the name and address of the husband and the name and address of the bride. The indenture must compose the names and addresses of two adult gentleman witnesses. And the place and address where the nuptials shrivel is signed

Both parties to the nuptials develop must utter their consent to the nuptials, verbally and in marks. This is done through an official tender of ijab (a contract to marry) and qubul (an acceptance to marriages in Islam), in the charisma of a wali, a chap keeper who looks out for the best pastime of the bride. It must involve the quantity of muqaddam/mu’ajjal mahr, and the amount of the mu’akhar (delayed).

After the hire is signed, the link is recognized as lawfully married and enjoy the rights and obligations stipulated by the Islamic Shari’a (law). The wedding tightened may be solemnized in a mosque and mostly signed in triplicate: one item should be given to the bride, one to the bridegroom, and the third must linger deposited with the Registrar, imam/qadi (holy leader or religious expert).

The Absence of Mahr Provision on marriages in Islam

If the nuptials does not enter a provision for the mahr, the shrivel is considered to be lawful. The three Schools of jurisprudence: Hanafi, Shafi’i and Hanbali identify the truth that the mahr provision is not a central intention, nor a rider for the nuptials. These three Schools believe that the mahr is an obligation on the husband regardless of whether it is written in the marriage shrink or not (see Mahmud Muhammad al-Sheikh, al-Mahr, published by al-Maktabah al-Assriyya, Beirut, 2003, Arabic rendering). Accordingly, if the marriage hire is signed by the parties lacking a provision of the mahr, or if they assign a mahr, which is considered to be illicit under Islamic Shari’a, or if the parties permit not to enter a mahr provision, in all these cases the conditions are null, the contract is lawful and the husband has to pay a mahr equivalent to a mahr given to the women of the same condition as that of his wife.

The Maliki School redundant this interpretation and considered the mahr provision in the contract, needed. However, this School regards such a marriage to be official if it was consummated. If the marriages in Islam was not consummated, then the marriage is mafsookh (a reason for separation); if he divorces his wife without any deal on the mahr release, then he has to pay her mut’ah (money paid to her in yield for the sexual pleasure he had with her). Now it is time to learn about our grea and dear prophet, Muhammad. It is through Muhammad that Allah has completed the Islamic way of life.

No other person in the history of mankind has left so great an impact on the life of his followers as Muhammad, the last and final messenger of Allah. His life is the best example for us to follow. He has shown us how to obey Allah, the lord of the Universe. Allah says in the Quran.

Allah will be pleased with us only if we practice Islam as practiced by Muhammad.
Muhammad’s Duty, according to the Quran, was to make Islam supreme over all other systems of life. IN oother words, you can say that Muhammad’s duty as the final messenger of Allah was to estqablish, the truth and remove falsehood from society. As muslims, we must also work towards the establishment of the supremacy of Allah’s law and the removal lof evil from the society in which we live. Ths is Jihad, whyich we learned from our beloved prophet Muhammad.

Birth and Childhood

Muhammad was born into the noble tribe of the Quranish in Makkha, Arabia, in 571 Chrisian Era. His father Abdullah died before his birth and Aminah, his mother died when he was only six. A few days after his birth he was given to Halimah, who took care of him until he was five years and one month old, when he was returned to the care of his mother. It was the custom of the quranish to give their new born babies to foster mothers for breast feeding.

After the death of his mother, his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, looked after him. From early childhood Muhammad suffered one shock after another. His grandfather died when he was only eight years old. Muhammad was then looked after by his uncle, Abu Talib, a leader of the Quranish and a businessman. The name Muhammad means Praiseworthy.

Md. Allah will bless you.

Islam is a complete way of life. It is the guidance for all mankind from Alllah, the creator of the universe. It covers all the things people do in their lifetime.

Islam tells us to learn he purpose of our creation, our final destiny and our place among other creatures. It shows us the best way to conduct our private and public affairs, including social, political, economical, moral and spiritual activites.

Islam is Arabic word which means submission and obedience. Submission is acceptance of Allah’s commands. Obedience means putting Allah’s commands into practice. Submission and Obedience to Allah bring peace, which is why Islam also means peace. A person who accepts th3e Islamic way of life and acts upon it is a Muslim.

Allah another Arabic word is the proper name of God. Muslims prefer to use the word Allah rather than the word God. Allah does not mean the God of Muslims, as some people wrongly believe. Rather, it is the name the creator has chosen for himself. Allah is the creator of everyone and everything.

Allah is unique in Islam and he is the one. And he has no son or daughter. Muslim should begin their actions by saying Bismillah, which means ‘In the name of Allah’.

Islam is the way of peace and harmony and Islam learns to us. If we look around, we see that all things – the sun, the moon and the stars, the hign mountains, and the mighty oceans- obey a law; the law of Allah.

We find no disorder or chaos in them. Everything is in its right place. We see perfect order and total harmony in the system of Nature athat Allah has created. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west and there has been no exception to this rule.

<div id="seolinx-tooltip" style="border: 1px solid rgb(0, 0, 0); Because we need to know that what our holy prophet did in his total life dedication to Islam.
The conclusion of the second covenant of al- aqabah was another turing point in the history of the Islamic movement. The Muslims now had a place in which to take shelter. They had an ally for support in time of war and danger.

The unbelievers eventually came to know about the covenant after it was completed. It had been done in secrecy so that the infidels could not have an opportunity to foil it. When they found out, they reacted in anger and resorted to torturing some of the people from Madinah.

The prophet mohammed now changed the strategy of his work. For thirteen years he had tried his best to preach the message of Allah to the people of Makkah but the Makkan soild was not fertile for this. Madinah provided him with fresh, receptive in which to sow the seed of Islam and he planned to use this opportunity.

Then the prophet muhammed (SM) commanded the Muslims of Makkah to start emigrations to Madinah and strengthen the bond with the Muslims there. The Muslims of Madinah are known as the Ansar (Helpers) and those of Makkah as the Muhajjirun (emigrants) in Islamic history.

Following the command of Prophet Mohammed the Makkan Muslims started moving to Madinah individually and in small group. The unbelievers tried relentlessly to stop this and became even more malicious and ferocious.

Think of the emigration! The Makkan Muslims left their homes for the sake of Allah and to seek His pleasure! At the moment of need, this was what was required of them. As Muslims, we too must be ready to do the same for the sake of our faith. Life on this earth will have meaning and purpose only when we can attain this attitude. We will then be able to do our duty as Allah’s true slaves.

In later I will discuss more about the Hizrah & our beloved prophet mohammed SM (PUBH).

Md. Allah says in Holy Quran that “ I have not created Jinn and mankind ( for any other purpose) except to worship me.”

Allah means the worship in Quran as “Ibadah”. Whatever we do in order to please the Allah is called Ibadah. So if we want to have better success for forever in the life of life after death then we should do everything through the Ibadah.

Human being is the Ashraful Makhlukat. That means man or women is the best creation of Allah. Allah gives the proper power the peoples to govern the other creation for his sake. Allah made the other auxiliaries to help the human beings. It is the major and most crucial part of Imam (Faith of Islam) and is fantastically revealed in the most important Suratul Ikhlas of the holy quran.

In holy quran allah says about tawhid that- “Say, he is Allah, the one. Allah is eternal and absolute. None is born of Him, nor is he born. And there is none like him.”

The tawhid basically means that everything and everything of this earth is made by Allah. And Allah looks after and provides for all the needs of every creation. Allah is the one and only guide for us. There is no need to have any other guidance except Allah.

Moreover, Tawhid is the belief in Allah along with all of his powers. The Allah is almighty, all-knowing, all-wise and all powerful. He is not only most loving but also merciful and kind. All-time he remains with us. He can behold everything what we do but we can not see him. He was, is and always will be. Even, he has no child, no partner and nor was he born of anyone. Allah ordered and we get lives and when he will order our lives will be taken away. All of the human being’s souls will be returned to him after death.

It is the crucial duty for every Muslim to declare Allah’s faith. We must believe the magical sentence “Ash-shahadahu La Ilaha Illallahu Muhammadur Rasullullah”. The English meaning of this Arabic word is “There is no god except Allah; Muhammad is he messenger of Allah.”

Md. This quote has been come down from the almighty Allah directly. Allah is the creator of the whole universe. So what he said, we should follow this to facilitate our life. The islam which is made by almighty Allah tells us that what we have been created, what all of the other creation have been created, what is the ultimate destiny of all of the creations, what is our position among all of the creation of almighty Allah. Islam not only orders us to follow the Islamic rituals but also shows us how to conduct best our private, economic, public affairs, social life, political, economical and moral activities.

The other meaning of Islam is obedience. Obeying all of the commands of almighty Allah will give us the exact peace what we expect. And if anybody obeys these rules only he/she can claim him/herself as a Muslim.

Islam a creation by Allah and Allah is one and unique. He has no son or daughter. He can create everything and can destroy whatever exists in the world within mili-second.

In Islamic rituals all of the works are started by “Bismillah”. The meaning of Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim is “I am starting with the name of almighty Allah.

Md. The Sun, Moon, Stars, high mountains along with great and huge types of oceans are obeying a unique law of almighty Allah. And all of them are obeying the rules and laws of Allah without any kind of protest or disobedience ever. A great harmony we are seeing among the things in respect of maintaining the order of Allah. From my birth and I am sure at the very beginning of the world everybody are seeing that the Sun rises from the east and sets in the west. There is no disobedience between the time of rising and setting down. We see the stars & the stars lighten the night’s world and when the night passed down a fresh new day is grown with the new sun. And this rule is abided by the sun, moon, stars and the world daily.

We see that the flowers are blossomed and the trees are obtained the green leaves in the spring.

All made us. All give us the knowledge and ability to choose the right or wrong. This death ritaul’s prayer is four Taqbir. If some of the peoples of a zone offered this prayer, it is taken to Allah as if all of the Muslims prayer. And nobody offers this prayer all will be sinful. The neighbors, relatives of the death Muslim’s should offer this prayer.

In this prayer there is no Ruku or Sijhdah. According to FBI report, in USA almost 2000 rapes are committed daily. But is there anybody who thinks about deeply that what the possible reason behind of it?

Suppose you are boy walking in the road. Lots of girls also walking besides. You look maximum of them either half nude or worn bikini type mini skirt. And most of the exciting part of the body like upper part of breast, thigh, bally remains uncovered. Naturally all of the peoples look these brazenly. So ultimate what can be happened? As a human you may be excited or tend to be erotic. And there is a possibility is created indirectly for the women to be raped.

Now have a look on the Muslim country like Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Iran. How many rapes are committed here daily? It happens at Very few times. What’s the reason behind of such events?

Research says “ the Hijab/veil”. Yes ! the Hijab can only be remedy to this kind of nasty circumstances. If a girl wears Hijab her most of the body are covered. Hijab covers the hand up to wrist, face except eyes, from the throat to legs. So, it’s not possible to apply a brazen eyes on the girl who are wearing Hijab. And ultimately the most horrific, nasty occurrence “RAPE” will not be committed.

So it’s not the time for the non-muslims to convert in Islam and protect themselves?

Md. Those who claim himself as a muslim he/she must have confess that they are familiar with the 5 pillars of islam and spend their time to maintain these 5 pillars of islam. These are:

1. Kalema: It is first part of the 5 pillars of Islam. It elaborates the great sentence “La Ilaha Illallaho”. It means none but Allah is our lord. This is the base of muslim by which the difference amongst Muslim and other religions can be defined. Those who follow this Kalema; they will be succeed, developed both in earth and the heavens. And those who don’t follow this Kalema, they will be failure, insulted, ruined and cast to the hell.

2. Prayer (Salat): What is salat (Prayer)? On which things peoples brought Iman (Read and belief in Kalema), repeating these things by their activities and speeches for 5 times a day is called Prayer (Salat). Going to mosque 5 times a day makes a Muslim more devotee to almighty Allah and it strengthen the Iman of a Muslim.

3. Saom (Fasting): The learning which the Salat let the muslim to be remembered at 5 times a day, the same learning is to be remembered for long 1 month of a year. In the month of fasting taking food is totally stopped from the Sehri to Iftar. Allah will give the special prize in the day of Akherat (Time of after Death) to the peoples who take fast. So we should take all of the fasting properly.

4. Hajj (Visiting holy Mecca): The fourth pillar of Islam is Hajj. It is mandatory to take Hajj for 1 time for a muslim. It is worth mentioning that, the hajj is mandatory to these peoples who have the ability to go to Mecca. I mean, who have the ability to bear the expense the fare of going Mecca.

5. Zakat (Sacrificing): The fifth pillar of Islam is Zakat. The almighty Allah has been made this Zakat as mandatory to the rich classes of peoples of a society. The rule of giving Zakat is; if any one have 40 Taka ( Bangladeshi Money) and if the 40 taka remains stored for 1 year, then 1 take of that should have to given the poor segment of the society and relatives. The main substantial welfare of the Zakat is that, helping between one Muslims to another are increased.

Md. The rites is the sacrifice of animals on the tenth of Zilhajj in celebration of Eidul Azha according to Islamic Shariah. By this rite rituals of Islam the muslims get closed to almighty Allah. To be competent on these rites one should be fulfilled the 4 conditions. These four conditions are: 1. Being a Muslim, 2. Having enough property 3. Not being any servant 4. Not being any traveler.

Every rites and rituals of Islam has rules and regulations which are derived from the Holy Quran. Eidul Azha has also the rules. The prayer of Eidul Azha is to be completed as soon as possible to be prepared for the slaughter of animals according to Islamic rites. It is better to slaughter an animal (Kurbani) by the own hand. Is you unable to slaughter an animal or don’t have enough knowledge on it you may hire someone who knows about the Islamic rites well. It is better to present all of the peoples who are sacrificing the animal on the celebration of Eidul Azha in the place of Kurbani (Slaughter Place). During slaughtering animal the names of the sacrificing peoples will be muttered.

This is the great rites rituals of Islam. So, one should know enough to maintain a Kurbani (Slaughtering animal).

Md. It is the time to convert his/her religion in Islam.

Islam welcomes all of the atheist and peoples of other religion to convert in Islam. Islam is the religion of mankind and it came from the almighty Allah. Allah makes the process of converting in Islam easy. It is the easiest process of converting one religion to another among the religion exists in the today’s world.

Islam is the true, immortal, god sent religion. All of the religions except Islam are fake, old and prohibited by the creator of this world. Allah (God) specified the Jannat( Heaven) only for the Muslims. The devotee of the other religion except Islam will be cast to the horrific fiery hell (Jahannam) and there is no doubt.

But Allah says in Al-Quran ; ‘all of Muslims will get jannat (heaven) after being purified by getting the punishment of his/her bad and anti-religious deeds in this world’. It is seen that, within shorter or later, Muslims will get the chance to enter in heaven. So what the reason of this delay?

Why not you are converting into Islam today? Just take ablution and spread your hand toward west sky (in the direction of Holy Kaba) and recite “ La Ilaha Illallahu Muhammadur Rasulillah”. It means ‘None but Allah is our Lord and Hazrat Muhammad SM (peace upon be him) is the messenger of Allah’. Saying this quote (“La Ilaha Illallahu Muhammadur Rasulillah) means you have confessed that Allah is your lord and he is one; there is no god except Allah.

You also confessed that Hazrat Muhammad SM (peace upon be him) is the messenger of Allah and as you have converted in Islam you must have to abide by all of the rules and Hadith of Islam. Even being a Muslim after converting; you must have to change your name by replacing a Islamic type name with the initiation of Muhammad. Suppose; your name was Steve Michel Collin. After being converted your name will be Mohammad Nasir Uddin Shamim.

Only converting name and saying ‘La Ilaha Illallahu Muhammadur Rasulillah’ does not mean that you are entirely a Muslim now. You must have to read Al-Quran and have to lead your life according to Al-Quran and Hadith. Don’t worry! You will get every suggestions and advices of your daily life in Al-Quran and Hadith. That mean you have to convert yourself totally. If you know better about ‘how to convert in Islam’ it will be better if you go to a mosque and let the Imam ( who lead muslims during saying prayer) or any Mufti ( who knows lots of Hadith of islam and holy quran better) that you want to convert youseft in muslim. They will help you.

You may find lots of resources and information about converting into Islam on internet also. So don’t do late. Hurry up. Because there is no certainty of how long you will live. In the world of Allah you are sure you will die but you are not sure when you will die. So don’t waste time; convert into Islam and start gaining something for getting Heaven easily.

<div id="seolinx-tooltip" style="border: 1px solid rgb(0, 0, 0); Jihad in Islam is very crucial due to its importance and necessity for the world when it is going to the way of ruin. When the peoples breaks the line of sin or mischief, a Muslim should aware him and show the correct path. This is basically Jihad-Islam.

Islam does not allow any kind of violence, robbery, terrorism in the name of Jihad. Allah says in Quran that-“let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression”. So defeat themselves, who are oppressing the innocents. It will be counted as Islam jihad. But compulsion is strictly prohibited in Islam. If anyone tries to compel other to accept Islam, it would not be granted as Islamic behavior or Islamic jihad. Spread Islam by encouraging peoples describing the bounty of Allah and the significance of taking Islam.

So, if one open his/her sword against the oppression, persecution but not to the peoples who are innocent though they are anti-religious or something like this; it will be jihad of Islam.

Md. In Islamic Shariah the husband has only the right to make a divorce to the wife. Wife doesn’t have the right to give divorce to husband. But during Marriage , if some condition is added in the deed of divorcement like prohibited works, want of something, disobey some rules than wife can makes divorce to husband.

If we look the significance, importance and virtue of marriage than the Divorce seems like a hated, nasty works. In a Hadith of Abu Dawud we find “There is no work is so hated like Divorce to Allah among the works of Islamic Shariah”. That means divorce is right for the peoples according to their necessity, but if it takes unnecessarily than it would be hated to almighty Allah.

Except Islam the rule of divorce is not prevailing in other religion. In spite of designate the divorcement in Islam as hated and nasty divorce is considered as the enrollment of Islamic shariah. Because, islam is the religion of nature and all of the rules and regulations of islam is very practical and benevolent. In the conjugal life of a husband and wife, such incident can be happened which may causes the want of peace. In this case, there is no alternative of Divorce. But Islam orders the Muslims to ignore the divorcement as far as possible.

Md. The importance of this night so much that Allah said in Quran that- “a human being who will take fasting in the sob e kodor and pass his/her time in whole night by reading Quran and saying prayer; Allah will forgive all of her/his previous sin and her/his deeds will be considered as 100 years on his virtue and vice record”.

Allah also said for Sob-E-Kodor night that: “ all of the angels of the Allah comes to the nearest sky of the world , observe the Muslims and distribute the virtue to the muslims until the next morning”

So we, the Muslims should not ignore this night and I hope, all of the muslims must utilize this holy night of Sob-E- Kodor.

Md.
