Divorce in Islam
The separation between husband and wife is called Divorce in Islam. In Islamic Shariah the husband has only the right to make a divorce to the wife. Wife doesn’t have the right to give divorce to husband. But during Marriage , if some condition is added in the deed of divorcement like prohibited works, want of something, disobey some rules than wife can makes divorce to husband.
If we look the significance, importance and virtue of marriage than the Divorce seems like a hated, nasty works. In a Hadith of Abu Dawud we find “There is no work is so hated like Divorce to Allah among the works of Islamic Shariah”. That means divorce is right for the peoples according to their necessity, but if it takes unnecessarily than it would be hated to almighty Allah.
Except Islam the rule of divorce is not prevailing in other religion. In spite of designate the divorcement in Islam as hated and nasty divorce is considered as the enrollment of Islamic shariah. Because, islam is the religion of nature and all of the rules and regulations of islam is very practical and benevolent. In the conjugal life of a husband and wife, such incident can be happened which may causes the want of peace. In this case, there is no alternative of Divorce. But Islam orders the Muslims to ignore the divorcement as far as possible.
